SOCIETY DETAILS

OUR VISION:

To put on an annual musical which aims to set professional standards of production and performance.

To provide high quality entertainment for our patrons.

To play an active part in the life of the town.

The Society is based in the Perthshire town of Alyth which is only 6 miles from  Blairgowrie. It began at the end of the 1940s and has been going ever since.

In 2010 it will be the Society's 62ndShow. 

Basic Facts

Company Size -        Around 30 but varies year to year.

Selection of Show -   By membership at the AGM in June

Rehearsals -             Starts Monday, September 14th 2009                   

Auditions -                 TBA

Rehearsal Venue -     Oglivy Rooms, Alyth

Rehearsal Nights -     Mondays followed by Thursdays for principals

                                Approximately 3 months before show whole company attend Monday and Thursday.

Show Date  -            20th - 24th April 2010

Show Venue -            Alyth Town Hall
